Tommy’s Margarita

Tommy’s Margarita is a variation of the Margarita cocktail. It is categorized by the IBA as a “New Era Drink”. It is made with Tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar and served in a Cocktail Glass. It is very different from the margarita in its exclusion of orange alcohol and its replacement of agave nectar. Tommy’s Margarita was imagined in San Francisco in 1990 by Julio Bermejo at his folks’ eatery called Tommy’s. Bermejo had been as of late acquainted with agave nectar as a fixing, and despite the fact that it was costly at that point, he utilized it to improve the agave flavor as opposed to utilizing Triple Sec to feature the citrus flavor in the first Margarita drink.

  • Ingredients
  • – 4.5 cL (9 Teaspoons) Tequila
  • – 1.5 cL (3 Teaspoons) Lime Juice
  • – 1 cL (2 Teaspoons) Agave Nectar
  • Garnish
  • – None

  • Preparation
  • 1.) Pour all ingredients into a Cocktail Shaker
  • 2.) Shake Well
  • 3.) Strain into chilled Cocktail Glass
